Seeing myself as a designer and a prospective educator with a curious and involved attitude towards the world around me.

Fascinated by the human body and it’s movements and motives. Why do people do the things they do?

I like to respond to this by tackling social problems. For example, lending a hand to human posture in evolution with my project ‘Orthoses for the future’.

Or by tackling my own pitfalls as a maker by designing a personalized and wearable methodology named ‘It all appeared to be linked’.

EVERYTHING
APPEARED TO BE LINKED

Every step is linked to the next, just like the links of a necklace.

Navigating Research Challenges
During my Bachelor's studies, I consistently encountered a common challenge as a creator. I often found myself getting lost in research. Surely, I couldn't be the only one facing this issue, could I?

Crafting a Methodology By interviewing different jewelry makers about how they address or circumvent this problem, I managed to devise the most suitable methodology for myself.

Discovering Interconnections
Through this process, I realized that everything is interconnected. I compiled all the findings and insights into a book.

Applying Insights in Design
I put the methodology to the test by employing it in the design process, particularly in shaping the link.

Conclusion: Realizing Interconnectedness
In summary, I came to the realization that everything seemed to be linked.

All interviews are compiled in this research report. Because some artists have asked me not to publish the conversation, only the cover is shown.
